This alert wasn't really a pump & dump scheme, i guess the purpose was to help a consultant to return a large amount of securities (500K S8 shares) that he has been charged to return before a precise date (feb 18th 2005), the daily volume was to weak to permit a quick return of the securities, it wasn't the best honarable way to achieve the transaction, anyway this company is showing strong revenues and earnings since it has acquired an emerging Chinese network infrastructure provider, with multiple serious and profitable ongoing contracts.
So we can believe that investors have not been really fooled in the deal, they've just been acting has relayers to clear the transaction described above , witch has the benefit to lower the company expenses.
That's my point of view, i was already invested in the company before this spam showed up, but i won't tell that i was pleased to see the company using that kind of process.

All IMHO.
